The Six Sigma Certification process continues with six (6) Black Belts, three (3) Green Belts, and 40-50 Yellow Belts across functional responsibilities at all locations. Our employees have a project to complete going through the process utilizing the principles of Six Sigma and the DMAIC (Define/Measure/Analyze /Improve/Control) process. Although these projects are at various stages in the DMAIC process, one thing is clear; we have made a difference already.
When you hear, “Show me the data.” during a conversation, you’ll know that this is the trademark of Six Sigma. Generally speaking, decisions for improvement are always based on a thorough understanding and interpretation of the data gathered. The Six Sigma tools taught during the training are being used daily to help us get to root causes and put permanent corrective actions in-place to eliminate waste and reduce variation in our processes.
Our competition doesn’t rest, and neither should we. Through continued commitment and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, we can and will be the supplier of choice for our customer base.
